Where clinics, researchers who can afford to contribute to our quest to help the sufferers of medical conditions, chronic illness, and your civil liberties and human rights to make comfortable decisions over the research activities you participate in, will soon be marked as contributors. You will also find many individual researchers cannot afford internet presence, or their own web sites, so BioTrax helps to bring you information which is NOT freely available on the net, and provides these researchers with free representation to volunteers and their own Mini Webs.
The BioTrax Phillosohpy is that medical research is ONE industry and should be respected as a whole allowing equal opportunities for both volunteers and researchers for the true values of an industry to shine through, and not just those who can afford it with little consideration for other researchers under grants without advertisng budjets.
It is Important for you to understand that in certain circumstances, ethics will not allow the printing of the financial rewards under NHS ethics committees, and for good reason. Ethics, despite their decisions, are in fact the basic foundation blocks of our industry, and should not be challenged by portal sites who print the financial rewards, or exaggerate the financial rewards on behalf of clinics on legal loop holes forcing those of us, who wish to follow ethical guidelines, to do the same. The problem is there is no governance over portal web sites, or the clinics who decide to trample over all the individual researchers and the NHS ethics committees and overide their ethics.
Those that can print the financial rewards in certain circumstances will do so, but not as a general advertisement for all medical research as portal web sites should not advertise the financial rewards at all, to be representive as an industry as a whole, with the exception of less invasive research as they cause a lot of deliberate damages to vaccine research longer term studies and indvidual researchers having the right to bring vaccines ect onto the market place in rapid delivery times.
NON INVASIVE RESEARCH ( Where No Medications or invasive procedures are involved, ie. needles ) there is no need for medical checks.
Generally speaking if you pass our eligibility test you will be eligible for many different types of research.
As a general rule of thumb you will learn about the reimbursements for your time and incovenience at the point of contact with the clinic or at the point of NOTES FOR VOLUNTEERS which BioTrax will continue to upload on certain studies but only where complicated explanations may not be required.
WHEN APPLYING FOR REAL TIME STUDIES,APPLY FIRST AND CONTACT SECOND.
The Hotline Number will be shown after application in most cases, or where clinics have their own volunteer sites, a link may be provided and all details will be supplied.

| Type of Study | HELP INFERTILE COUPLES - GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO HAVE A FAMILY
SEE YOUTUBE ABOVE
SPERM DONORS NEEDED
As the UK’s leading fertility specialists, we help thousands of couples become parents every year in CARE clinics across the country and we know how important sperm donors are. There is currently a national shortage of donor sperm available for use in fertility treatment. | | Aim of Study | WOULD YOU LIKE TO DONATE SPERM TO HELP INFERTILE COUPLES
You may already be a father yourself and know the joy children bring to your life. Could you consider donating sperm and give another couple the chance to have a precious child of their own?
DID YOU KNOW
1 in 6 couples need help getting pregnant
many treatments involve donor sperm
| | Inclusion Criteria | You need to be fit and healthy, under 45 years of age and with no history of genetic disorders. | | Exclusion Criteria | There are certain high-risk groups from which we cannot recruit donors. If you belong to or have ever belonged to any of these groups we cannot accept you as a sperm donor.
Homosexual and bisexual men.
Drug users
Haemophiliacs (treated with blood products).
Residents from high-risk areas such as Central Africa.
Men who, are or ever have been, sexually involved with members (male or female) of the above groups.
| | Area | Nottinhgham, Nottinghamshire. | | Duration | Samples need to be produced at CARE by appointment only and we do our utmost to offer you mutually convenient appointment times. Appointments will be made with the laboratory staff after each donation. Donations need to be made regularly (within a 2 month period) and you should anticipate attending the clinic at least once or possibly twice a week until sufficient sperm has been collected and stored, usually around 8 donations, although this varies from donor to donor.
| | Reimbursement | Approx 20 pounds per donation

Study 1324 :CARE - Egg Donation Nottingham

| Type of Study | HELP INFERTILE COUPLES - GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO HAVE A FAMILY
SEE YOUTUBE ABOVE
TESTIMONIAL - EGG DONATION
CARE has one of the world's most experienced team dedicated to the treatment of infertility. We have highly skilled doctors, scientists, nurses and support staff. Our laboratories and theatres are equipped to the highest standards. But for some of our patients we need extra help - we need donor eggs. Could you help?
“Ive got three children and I don’t want any more. I’ve often thought about donating eggs, and kept putting it off. But now I’ve actually done it I feel really pleased that my eggs have given someone else the chance to have a family”
Michelle
| | Aim of Study | WHY DO WE NEED DONOR EGGS
Some women are unable to produce their own eggs. This might be because they have gone through the menopause early – as young as 20. Some of our patients have had chemotherapy or radiotherapy for cancer which has left them infertile. Other women have genetic conditions which they do not want to pass on to their children. Unless a donor comes forward we are unable to help them.
| | Inclusion Criteria | WHO CAN DONATE
You should be under 36 years of age, in good health, preferably having had your own family and with no history of genetic disorders. Many women consider donating their eggs when they are sterilised for example.
| | Area | Nottingham, Nottinghamshire | | Duration | WHAT IS INVOLVED
Donating eggs requires commitment. There are daily injections – which we can train you to do – and you will need to come in to CARE probably 3 or 4 times for ultrasound scans and blood tests. At the appropriate time, eggs are collected by a simple procedure. After a few hours you can go home. | | Reimbursement | CARE will compensate you up to £250 for loss of earnings as well as covering your expenses.
| | Other Info | IS IT ANONYMOUS
YES. Donor and recipient never meet.
Could any child ever trace me
