Type of Study	The purpose of this study is to investigate the mechanisms by which different nitro-vasodilators exert their actions in different types of blood vessels
Aim of Study	The purpose of this study is to investigate the mechanisms by which different nitro-vasodilators exert their actions in different types of blood vessels
Inclusion Criteria	To be considered for this study, the following must apply to you: * You are a healthy adult male or female * OR you have Oriental Flush/Alcohol Flush (flushing after alcohol ingestion), common in people of East Asian ethnic origin * You are between 18 and 75 years of age, inclusive. * You do not have high blood pressure (hypertension). * If you are a woman you must not be pregnant, nor intend to become pregnant during the study. * You are not taking any regular medicines, other than the oral contraceptive pill or asthma inhalers.
Area	St Thomas’ Hospital in Central London.
Duration	Taking part in this study would require you to attend for between 1 and 4 study visits, depending on which parts of the study you participate in. Blood flow will be measured in your arms and the responses to nitro-vasodilators assessed and on some occasions we may change the oxygen content that you breathe through a mask, or give you a dose of one of a selection of commonly used medicines that may alter the activity of the dilator.
Reimbursement	You will be paid for taking part.
