Participants must be willing to stay in the hospital around the clock for 28 days and nights. The purpose of the study is to see what determines how much sleep a person needs. To do this, we will study people who regularly sleep 7 hours or less each night.
Aim of Study	We hope to learn what biological factors (things in the body) determine how much time a person sleeps.

PTSD: male or female subjects, ages 18-55, who are suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Individuals who have had reactions to major traumatic life events are also encouraged to participate. Depression: male or female subjects, ages 18-55, who are suffering from depression. Alcohol Dependence: male or female subjects between 18-50 years of age, suffering from alcohol dependence or in partial remission. Subjects may participate in an inpatient or outpatient setting, but must be abstinent from alcohol for 4-6 weeks prior to MR and PET scanning.
