Study 1372 :Trouble Sleeping ? Medical Trial 4 Over 65 Years of Age ? - SLEEP TIGHT ! Surrey

Type of Study	GREAT CLINICAL TRIALS, MEDICAL TRIALS FOR SENIORS Do you have difficulty sleeping? Wake-up several times a night? Aged 65 and above? Like to take part in a clinical study?
Inclusion Criteria	•Be at least 65 years or more •Must have had sleep problems for at least 1 month or more, have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep •Sleep less than 6.5 hours a night •Prepared to answer a sleep questionnaire each day for the duration of the study •Prepared to take the clinical trial sleep medication as directed •Must not suffer with sleep apnoea or other sleep related problems other than primary insomnia •Must be in good health with no on-going medical difficulties - some stable medication accepted (please state if applicable) •State any medication taken within the past 1 month •Must not suffer with anxiety/depression/bipolar disorders •Must not have a history of alcohol or drug abuse within the past 12 months •Must not be a shift worker or intending to travel outside GMT during the study period •Must be able not to smoke during night time awakenings •Must not have taken part in a clinical trial within 30 days
Area	Guildford , Surrey is where the clinical trial is taking place but we are recruiting subjects right throughout the UK and travel expenses are paid for this UK Medical Trial
Duration	•Screening and assessment for sleep required in sleep laboratory - 2 nights •Prepared to sleep in the sleep laboratory for 2 consecutive nights on 4 occasions over 8 weeks
Reimbursement	•Payment for inconvenience and travel expenses
