The study involves 2 periods of stay in our comfortable Belfast City Centre based clinic (excluding screening procedures). The duration of each stay is just 2 days, see below for the dates of the various groups.

Why is the study being carried out? The study is being carried out in volunteers over 65 as the study drug may be prescribed to people in this age group. The study will use ECG’s and blood pressure measurements to look at the effect of the study drug on the heart and compare it with placebo.
What else should I know? To make sure that you are suitable for this study you will have to undergo a thorough medical which includes a digital rectal exam. Details of which will be discussed with you prior to attending the medical.

Payment procedure:
* Since November 2005 Catalyst operates a credit transfer system directly into your bank account. The benefits to you are: quicker transfer of payment, no more cheques lost in the post, no more queuing at the bank, verified payment and a new fee acknowledgement form!.
* In order to be paid directly into your bank account, you must provide us with correct bank details (full name on account, sort code, account number and branch).

* Mystery Shoppers will receive a fee acknowledgement form in an email which needs to be printed out, signed and returned to Catalyst by post or fax. The fee acknowledgement form states the shop name, location, date and it also shows the fee for the shop. If a purchase was required as part of the shop, it will show you how much you are reimbursed.
* Please check your bank account or post for payment. If you have not received payment, please notify us by email.
